Schooley Street Records was founded by studio owner, producer and music publisher Steve Carbo.
Steve has been recording since the late eighties. He started out writing and producing jingles. That venture lead to building a recording studio where he began recording and producing local artists. He has certifications in audio engineering and music production. In addition he has earned degrees in electronic engineering technology, business management, and an MBA from Rosemont College.
Jeff graduated from Temple University with a degree in TV/Film media. He received a Grammy Award for his work on Kirk Franklin’s “Hello Fear” album. His production credits are spread across: R&B, Rap, Gospel, Jazz, Classical, and Rock. Jeff is also known for his work in theatrical sound design, radio commercials, video and film audio post-production, studio design and tech maintenance.
Jeff’s credits include such notables as R. Kelly,Kirk Franklin , Celine Dion, Jill Scott, King Britt, Vivian Green, Chromeo, Crimson Glory, Esmée Denters ,The Black Eyed Peas, T.I. ,Kanye West ,John Legend, LL Cool J, Ne-Yo, Macy Gray, R. Kelly ,Patti Labelle, Teddy Pendergrass, Justin Timberlake and many others.

Maya is a Berklee College of Music graduate with a degree in music business. Maya is a Berklee trained musician who has gigged on both sides of the Atlantic.
Maya runs the studio. She takes care of everything from scheduling sessions, posting social media, catering to clients, ordering supplies and equipment, performs session set ups and tear downs and has also been known to provide backing vocals as needed.
She has also acted in an A&R role for the record label.
